Civic Street Cycle Hub – Regular Events Programme

Civic Street Cycle Hub is Now Open!
Bike for Good has opened a new community hub at Civic Street, in collaboration with Agile City and funded by Paths for All through their Smarter Choices Smarter Places Open Fund.   The community hub is based in a container in the newly formed Civic Yard, an outdoor space opposite Civic House which is shared with Glasgow Tool Library.
Opening hours for drop-in enquiries and Do It Yourself bike maintenance are Thursdays and Fridays from 3.30-5.30 every week, and Saturdays from 4.30-5.30pm.
What’s going to be happening at Civic Street?
The new Civic Street hub will be organising weekly bike rides with various lengths and at times to suit all. Regular bespoke cycling lessons primarily for adults looking to get back on a bike will run weekly on Saturdays, and sessions for complete beginners will also be on offer.

These activities are specifically for residents and communities who live, work, or regularly spend time in and around the Woodside, Port Dundas and Cowcaddens areas. If you are an individual, community group, or business local to the area you can contact [email protected] or text  07516556034 (Wednesday-Friday 9am – 5.30pm) to find out what support we can provide for you, (or your staff and your customers) to get cycling.

There will be monthly Spokes not Blokes on the last Wednesday of every month, Fix Your Own Bike sessions as well as a DIY cycle maintenance pit stop area, plus a range of other events around the North of Glasgow over the coming months. Bike loans and E-cargo bike loans will also be available in future.

You can find out more about our current programme of activities and events here, and follow Bike for Good on social media for updates.  We hope to see you there!
