It’s back! Scotland’s largest competitive short film festival returns for its 15th edition. For the first time in three years, Glasgow Short Film Festival will take place in person across Civic House, Glasgow Film Theatre and CCA. Glasgow Short Film Festival is delighted to be championing new film talent, bringing programmes of home-grown and international cinema to Glasgow, 23-27 March.
In honour of Scotland’s Year of Stories, GSFF22 will showcase wildly imaginative and unique forms of storytelling, up on the big screen where they belong. It will present works that can only be seen in cinemas, works that interrogate notions of objectivity, ones that hold revolution in subtle and grand ideas, and ones that further reflect on our futures, demanding active engagement and a belief in the potential of cinema for collective good.
The GSFF22 programmes will be accompanied by industry and social events, mostly taking place in the Civic House festival hub. The programme of industry events – free and open to all – is available to browse on the GSFF website.
All screenings at Civic House are captioned for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing audiences
Ticket prices at GSFF22 are set according to a Pay What You Can sliding scale, in order to make our events more accessible. Sliding scale tiers for most events are £2 – £4 – £6 – £8.
